Brian Herrera is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends illustration, design, and storytelling to explore cultural memory, identity, and the immigrant experience. Drawing from Mesoamerican studies, punk, and street art, his layered visual language bridges tradition and futurism. He has contributed to projects with Adidas, Universal Music Group, Hermès and was recognized with the Victor K. McElheny Award by MIT. His recent short film Ask a Punk, which he co-directed and produced, premiered at the 2025 Miami Film Festival. Herrera is also developing Mesofuturismo, an ongoing series reimagining ancestral symbolism through speculative visuals. He currently serves as Artist-in-Residence at Little Village High School in Chicago.
